If your ears are open you must be listening to the Sanctuary4gamers podcast with Steve, Chris and today's special guest Nelson Rodriguez.
Nelson unboxes his podcast gear (quite litterally actually) to chat to us about the history and success of the Achievement Junkie podcast. We also chat about Nelson's time at Microsoft's Gamerscore Blog, random office objects, the Microsoft layoffs and the 'pick up and play' studios are not quite what they seemed.

Nelson now works for Promethium marketing and are soon to be releasing a new iPhone game entitled ' Tweet Defense', a game that allows you to kill zombies while tweeting. Tweet Defense (description below) will be available on iTunes from this February.

We asked Nelson the Sanctuary4gamers' community questions from the week and got some great answers.

This week’s show is the start of a new series by the guys to invite other podcasters onto the S4G podcast show. The first guest is LeeNygma from the Team Bromance podcast from the Frugal Gaming website. Together we discuss the recently played games, some news and get our guest to sing No Doubt.

We have to admit, this show was a train crash. So, all aboard! WOOO! WOOO!

Just to clarify, it wasn't Lee's fault that made this cast a train crash, it was Chris & Steve's lack of organision = FAIL

We are back!

Chris remembers to actually plug his mic in and the podcast is back online!

Steve talks about Borderlands and how it could make him addicted to WoW. We both have a good natter about Mass Effect and then Steve explains to us how much of an idiot he looks like while playing DJ Hero, yes, he bought DJ Hero!
While Steve is loving his DJ Hero, Chris is more obsessed about a random app, and it is nothing to do with games (sorry!).

In the News, the next Nintendo DS could have motion controls and we chat about that random game room.

We do the last ever 'Sanctuary4gamers Answer me this' and & Chris answers the very last 'Japanese Jibba Jabba' questions and explains about eating pig face.

The show that wasn't meant to be

Like a disgruntled child I sat down and whinged 'Steve, do we have to do a podcast today?!?'. Steve explained that he had a barrel-full of exciting explosive ideas, so we talked them through and we decided to make it the best podcast in the world.
It was GO! GO! GO! for podcast episode 72! We talked and laughed and had so much fun. Poked fun of each other and some other podcasts, and even had a beautiful Happy New Year's message. It was, without a doubt, the best podcast we had ever made. It was perfection!

Well, it would have been perfection if I had actually turned my mic on - it was off for the entire podcast and instead featured the unique sound of my air conditioner that was recorded from the built in microphone on my Mac.

So I apologise for the inconvenience that there won't be a show this week, we are going to fat fighters instead.

We don't take holidays on S4G! We even get you a New Years Show...ok it's not exactly on New Year's day, but it's close enough.

On this week's show both Steve and Chris have had some time to go back over some of the old games that they never completed. Steve runs around like a fairy and meets Jesus in Modern Warfare 2. Chris get angry with xbox live and loves Saint Row 2.

We go through the not-so-successful 'S4G awards and vow never to do them again.

Instead of looking at the usual crap news Steve and Chris looking at not just the last year in gaming, but the last decade. We run down year-by-year what has happened in the last 10 years in gaming and the gaming community.

We also answer your lovely questions and Chris answers your Jibba Jabba Japanese questions.

Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat, though not quite as fat as Steve's ar...nevermind.

It's the Christmas show ladies and gentleman!

Have we got a corker of a show for you this week! We take a look at some iPhone games and apps plus Chris gives his honest opinions about the Grand Turismo 5 demo that hit the PSN this week. While Steve has spent some extra special time with his DS to play his new favorite game.... No I can't reveal it - you have to listen for yourselves.

Should S4G be classed as 'press'? We get asked a very serious question from one of our users, and it's probably one of our best questions yet!

Chris answers you Jibba Jabba Japanese question and discusses spooning.

We bring you some late news straight out of EDGE magazine and talk so much shit about Tiger Woods, we will probably end up in court for slander.

We answer your questions and talk about eating crayons and old TV shows.

Chris answers all of your Japanese questions - all two of them. COME ON GUYS!!
