The Verdict - Buy:
If you own a DS you need ScribbleNauts in your collection. It's an incredibly original game and there really isn't much to complain about. There are hours upon hours of gameplay to be had, and even after finishing it you can go back and replay levels and complete them in an entirely different way. each level also has goals, such as use less than X number of objects. These goals are all optional, but they provide even more reason to go back and try to complete the level within the parameters of that stage.
The only real issue is with the controls. Being a physics based game can cause some frustration when moving around the world. It would have been nice to use the directional pad to move instead of only using the stylus, but that is a minor complaint, and the only real fault with ScribbleNauts.
At the end of the day ScribbleNauts is one of the most original games you'll ever play. The levels are varied enough that it never feels repetitive and how you beat the level is up to you. The only limit is the extent of your imagination. Buy ScribbleNauts, you won't regret it.
