Achievement hunters, listen up! Electronic Arts is pulling the plug on nine more games with online components, with games like The Godfather, Def Jam: Icon and The Simpsons Game, which will go offline forever starting in March. Some off these games my still have there leaderboards after the online components have been removed.

The 90-minute demo, which will come to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Feb. 25, contains the Twilight Cathedral, the entire first level of the campaign. This includes puzzles, equipment to find and even two boss battles.
"We are really pumped to be bringing a playable demo for Darksiders to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, We really wanted to give gamers a true idea of the variety of gameplay that the game offers and so rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game." Alan Wake was a game coming for both the PC and Xbox 360. After a while we heard nothing of the PC version, culminating in the final announcement yesterday that the game's for the 360 only.
A statement from Microsoft reads:
"Some games are more suited for the intimacy of the PC, and others are best played from the couch in front of a larger TV screen. We ultimately realised that the most compelling way to experience "Alan Wake" was on the Xbox 360 platform, so we focused on making it an Xbox 360 exclusive. Both Microsoft and Remedy have long histories in PC game development. This decision was about matching this specific game to the right platform."

Valve released an interesting statistic yesterday, and no it was game sales or annual income. It was to do with how many zombies have been killed in-game since release. So far, we have racked up a staggering 28,981,249,043. That also means that we have killed the world population 4.26 times.
